The purpose of establishing this department

Kainan University is located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, close to the international airport and convenient transportation. The purpose of the establishment of this department is to cultivate professional management and practical technical talents for tourism and catering with enthusiasm to enter the tourism and catering market, in response to the world trend and the manpower demand for the active development of the tourism and catering industry in my country.

The school system of this department

The school system planning of this department is divided into a university department and a further education department , A four-year dual-track class, and 128 credits should be taken after graduation.

Future studies and employment directions 

Go to school :  Can continue to study Tourism and hospitality related research institutes.  

Employment:  Can enter the tourism and catering industry workplace as a travel manager, travel agency staff, tour guide, team leader, guide commentator, exhibition staff, air ticketing Personnel, restaurant managers, catering services and receptionists, Chinese and Western cooking chefs, pastry bakeries, beverage modifiers, counter service personnel, room service personnel, procurement and acceptance personnel, sanitary control and quality control and other professionals, or enter sightseeing The competent authority of the catering industry shall serve as a public official.
